The Ozark Counseling Services, Inc. (OCS) is a non-profit corporation offering comprehensive behavioral health care services to the residents of Baxter, Boone, Marion, Newton and Searcy Counties. The operation of the Center is directed by a Board of local citizens from this five-county area.

The overall emphasis of Ozark Counseling Services is on serving the total community rather than only certain individuals designated as “clients.”

OCS believes mental health should be defined in the broadest sense of coping with life and should not be limited to the care and treatment of those labeled with diagnostic categories or previous psychiatric histories.

In addition to providing therapeutic services, the Center emphasizes prevention of psychological disorder and improvement in the quality of life for typical members of the community.
